I opened Melissa McGee Photography in 2010 with a simple mission: to make sure my clients don’t just walk away with a photo, but with the feeling of being truly seen. Since then, my team and I have evolved into one of the region’s premier high-volume photography studios, blending artistic quality with an efficient, modern experience.

  • Professional Headshots: From individual entrepreneurs to entire corporations, we provide expert coaching (body language, expression, brand positioning) and expert lighting to ensure your professional brand is elevated and authentic.
  • The Santa Experience: Our signature seasonal event where we trade the “mall line” for a magical, totally immersive interaction that results in heirloom-quality memories that parents have made a yearly tradition.

I’ve spent years learning from the best in the industry to create a workflow that is fast and professional without ever feeling like a “factory.” My team and I are dedicated to making every individual in front of our lens feel comfortable, confident, and celebrated.

I’m a Midwest native, a lover of entrepreneurship, and a believer that everyone—from a nervous kiddo to a stressed out self-conscious executive—is unique and worthy of being remembered. We aren’t just taking pictures; we are capturing the pulse of our community, one photo at a time.

Shoot, when your photographer is helping coax/wrangle 3 kids who want to go in every direction and she still has the poise she does when taking professional headshots, her patience shows. And that's HUGE for parents because we all know how stressful family photo day can feel --leading up to it and upon arrival. Our photo shoot was 2 days ago, and it's super fresh in my mind how excited my kids were to run nature's playground, but Melissa had siren music that lured them in when it was go time. (I mean they are ages 207, so that says a lot.)"

My experience during my session was very positive. Melissa made it feel like a very safe and open space. During the session, Melissa gave professional and helpful coaching for how to make sure I look my best. Not only was she extremely professional the whole time, but she mde sure to create a positive environment in a way that made it fun and collaborative. I was pleased with the outcome of my photos. Melissa went above and beyond with making sure the images looked like I wanted them to. It was also a reasonable price for the photos. I had such a fun time, and I would definitely come back!
