FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions:

 

I haven’t hired a professional photographer before. What should I expect to happen?

When you call to schedule your session (or book your session online), we will contact you to confirm a date to meet together for a pre-session consultation. We will either meet together or chat over the phone to deliver your welcome packet to you, answer questions, plan your session, talk about what products you are looking for, and take care of loose ends. (Our goal is to get you “session-ready” and take care of everything for you at this meeting.) You’ll receive a reminder about your session a few days prior to your session date. When we meet for your session, we’ll have a good dose of fun, maybe get a little silly, take some amazing photographs, and schedule your viewing/ordering session. We will meet again for your viewing/ordering session, and you’ll pay for and order your products. A few weeks later, all your products should arrive, and we will meet again to deliver them to you!

 

Will I look bad in the images?

We provide you with a welcome packet that has all sorts of information on how to prepare for your session. It helps immensely with all the anxious thoughts that might start swimming around in your head. Clients usually find that they are surprised how great they look in the images! If you find that you get stuck planning your outfit or something like that, we are always just a phone call away!

 

What if I don’t like the images?

We 100% guarantee you will love the images. If for some reason you don’t like the images, we will work with you to make it right.  We provide you with a welcome packet that has all sorts of information on how to prepare for your session. If you find that you get stuck planning your outfit or something like that, we are always just a phone call away!

 

Are Payment Plans available?

Yes, we are happy to customize a payment plan to suit your needs.

 

I don’t have time to come back for a viewing/ordering session.

A viewing/ordering session is an important part of your custom photography experience. This is time that we carve out for you, and only you, to make sure that you get the information and products you need and want in order to be 100% satisfied with your photography experience.

 

Who needs to be at the viewing/ordering session?

All “decision-makers” must be at the viewing/ordering session, because this is where the buying decisions will be made. We will schedule your viewing/ordering session at a time that is convenient for you.  Sometimes that means that clients need to secure babysitting services for their children, so their attention can be solely on their viewing/ordering appointment.

 

Do you have a referral program?

Yes, we have a fantastic referral program!  If you are a current client, and you refer someone to us, they get a free session, and you get a $100 gift card to Melissa McGee Photography! Win-win!
